B.C.’s Education Minister reaches out to BC Alumni

The BC-Canada Pavilion was once again the venue for a BC Alumni event as over 180 alumni had the opportunity to re-connect with faculty and staff from their B.C. post-secondary institutions, as well as with old classmates and representatives from other B.C. institutions.

B.C.’s Minister of Education, Shirley Bond was the guest speaker – and posed for photos with alumni during the evening.

Similar to previous BC Alumni events, the prize draw portion of the event, featuring gifts with B.C. characteristics, was a highlight!

British Columbia’s education institutions hosted a special welcome event for all students planning to attend a B.C. school or post-secondary institution in the upcoming school year. Family members of these students were invited to join the staff and faculty members of the student’s new institutions and to network with the future alma mater at the BC-Canada Pavilion in Beijing. B.C. Education Minister Shirley Bond was again the special guest.
